CrossFit Spot the Flaw
I started CrossFit because a friend encouraged me and my wife to try out a class. The rest was history. Growing up I was always active playing football, hockey, ultimate frisbee and biking. Then work and life set in making it harder to do the things I enjoyed. CrossFit has helped get back to an active lifestyle so that I can play with my two children, mountain bike, play hockey and rock climb.
I had belonged to many gyms and tried different workout programs. I always enjoyed working out but I could never stay motivated for more than a week or two. Then came CrossFit where the community and coaches held me accountable and made me feel welcome. Having a community of people ready to cheer you on through a tough workout truly makes this the best hour of your day. I now look forward to the gym.
I'm a nerd. I love learning about progressions and techniques to help athletes move more efficiently and reach their goals safely. I also enjoy motivating athletes of all abilities to reach for their potential. These skills and movements better each athlete's everyday life which is a big drive for me and why I took up coaching.
