About Coach

My journey with CrossFit started in January 2011. I wanted to train and run my first marathon but I did not have the time to commit to the normal training plan. With some research I found CrossFit! It gave me the preparation I needed to be ready for a race of that magnitude. Shorter intense workouts each day with a few long runs and I was in! Five months later I ran my first sub four marathon and went on to train for Triathlons using the same CrossFit principles. Being born and raised in Gunnison Colorado I grew up on the back of a horse and loved being active and outside. By the age of 16 I had ridden the entire Colorado Trail. 486 miles of single track covering eight mountain ranges from Denver to Durango. That journey taught me more than any other single experience in life. My husband Chad and I have been married for 20 years. We love adventure and the outdoors! From climbing the Colorado Rockies, backpacking the Andes in Peru, paddling the Boundary Waters in Minnesota and navigating the jungles of Belize our fitness has taken us anywhere we to go! Thanks to CrossFit!

Turning Point

My passion for CrossFit and coaching stems from the joy and satisfaction I find in doing things I never thought possible. We are all constantly bombarded with insecurities and that voice in our head telling us we aren't good enough, that we don't have what it takes! I am passionate about helping others quiet that voice and become stronger both mentally and physically! Seeing our athletes progress is what drives me everyday to be the best coach I can be!

Motivation & Passion

I love helping athletes to move and perform well in the gym. We are all so busy I want my energy and drive to help make this the best hour of their day! I’ve have a passion for helping athletes understand what they are really capable of and not allowing their physical or mental limitations to hold them back. Along with fitness I saw a need for more. With food being the real foundation of fitness I began Nutrition Coaching. I love helping people reach their goals in or out of the gym! Better humans = better world!
